MRI

An MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) scan uses strong magnetic and radio waves to produce detailed images of the inside of the human body without using X-rays. It does this by scanning through the body, one small section at a time, to gradually build a three-dimensional picture, just as slices of bread make a complete loaf when put together.

We have invested in our MRI facilities so we can offer patients rapid access to state-of-the art equipment and high quality services. All our scans are carried out by highly trained radiographers. Our clinical reports are delivered by experienced Consultant Radiologists.
